Chemical Engineering Ph.D. student at the University of Florida

Lautech, B.Tech in Chemical engineering

Lancaster University, MRes. in Engineering

I am a Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida, where I focus on semiconductor devices and characterization under the guidance of Prof. Travis Anderson. I earned my MSc by Research in Engineering from Lancaster University, United Kingdom, where I studied wind patterns in urban areas for bladeless wind turbine applications, and my B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria.

Before starting my Ph.D., I worked as a Subsea and Flow Assurance Engineer at FEDDO Group, contributing to large-scale oil and gas projects. In that role, I specialized in finite element analysis, flow assurance modeling, and technical development while training junior engineers and supporting international conference submissions.

My research interests span computational fluid dynamics (CFD), semiconductor device modeling (TCAD), machine learning applications in engineering, and energy systems. I have presented my work at international conferences including AIChE, WindEurope, and the Lester Eastman Conference on High-Performance Devices.

In addition to research, I am passionate about teaching and mentorship. I have taught CFD and FEA at Lancaster University, Obafemi Awolowo University, and LAUTECH, and I actively volunteer as a STEM mentor through initiatives such as Django Girls, Rubies Technologies, and STEM4Girls.

Recognized with the European Regional Development Scholarship and several engineering society awards, I am committed to advancing interdisciplinary solutions at the intersection of fluid dynamics, semiconductors, and energy, while inspiring the next generation of engineers.
