He exemplifies the power of American entrepreneurship and innovation.

Jeong H. Kim is the Chairman of Kiswe Mobile Inc., a technology company focusing on interactive video for live events. Prior to that, he was the 11th President of Bell Labs, the communication industry’s most heralded research organization where he was the first leader recruited from outside Bell Labs in its 80+year history. His background ranges from being a CEO of a high technology start-up to senior executive of a Fortune 500 corporation. In just five years, he created the #1 Hot Growth Company among all public companies in the U.S. and was put on the cover of Business Week in May of 1997. Dr. Kim’s early career encompassed computer design, satellite systems design and data communications, including seven years as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. in reliability engineering from the University of Maryland, a master’s degree in technical management and bachelor degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Kim has sat on numerous corporate, University and non-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of Samsung Electronics and the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and was named one of the 10 most influential Asian Americans in business for 2005 by the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber. In 2014 the government of France awarded him the Legion of Honor for his services in global technology and in 2016 he received the Horatio Alger Award.
