It seems like even entry level positions require prior experience these days. I work in the summers to fund my education, how can I prove I am qualified for these jobs without internships?

“I believe that job descriptions tend to describe their ideal candidate but very rarely do employers ever hire someone with ALL the listed qualifications. I like to mirror the same words/phrases they use in the job description on my resume where possible. Where I don’t have experience, I’ll prepare some parallel examples that show I’ve done something similar and try to fit that into the interview conversation (or cover letter).”
