Dr. Watson currently serves as Global Marketing Director of HIV Franchise, at Gilead Sciences. In his work he focuses on building and establishing market awareness around HIV prevention, care, and treatment particularly among minority communities globally. He is a graduate of NC A&T State University with a degree in Biology and holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Lincoln University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Watson’s PhD focuses on improving patient provider communication to optimize patient care. Dr. Watson prior roles have influenced systems of care at local and international levels. Dr. Watson’s has published peer review articles describing the blueprint for engaging minorities in clinical trials currently being used at Fortune 50 companies. In his spare time, Dr. Watson enjoys traveling, learning and immersion in new cultures, cooking, and skiing.
