Charis Elisabeth Haynes is a graduate student at Brown University pursuing a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) degree. Charis is on the pre-med track and will be applying to medical school during Summer 2025. She is a graduate from Howard University where she studied both biology and political science on the pre-med track and has valuable insight to give on navigating college, making game plans to pursue one’s goals, and successfully completing the pre-med track (e.g., gaining clinical hours, taking the MCAT, etc). In her spare time, Charis enjoys traveling, spending time with those dear to her, playing basketball, and cooking.

What are you most proud of in your work or life?

Going to both college and graduate school on full scholarships and graduating summa cum laude as a double major!!

What are your passions and hobbies?

Cooking, reading, playing/watching basketball, traveling, going on out-of-the-box adventures

Don’t have a fav snack but i LOVE apple juice
