Engineering Leader, Board Chair and Coach

Howard University – B.S in Computer Science

Most recently, I served as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, where I led an engineering team that innovated the core experiences and architectures for the ChatGPT Web, iOS, and Android clients. Currently, I serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at NSTMF, an organization dedicated to supporting underrepresented scholars in STEM and honoring top innovators across the United States with the presidential National Medal of Technology and Innovation.

Over my career, I have held leadership roles at companies like Netflix, Goldman Sachs, and Google, where I transformed products and guided teams to drive business priorities. Additionally, I co-founded Onramp, an Ed-tech startup, successfully raising ~$2M in seed funding to develop tools that empower educators and learners.

What are you most proud of in your work or life?

In 2017 I ran a 2:55:13 marathon. This occurred 4 years after I ran half marathon and told myself I would never be able to run a full. I proved to myself that through faith, guidance, focus, hard work and discipline, we can surpass perceived limits.

What are your passions and hobbies?

I enjoy collecting/playing Pokemon cards, horror movies, CrossFit workouts, and oat-milk cortados. 😎

“No excuses.”
