Dr. Encarnación is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management and Analytics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Her research focuses on developing and using econometric, analytical modeling, and statistical analysis methods to guide decision-making in complex applications related to community resiliency, disaster response logistics, equity, and access. She completed a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering in the Fall of 2019 at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, conducting research at the Center for Infrastructure, Transportation and the Environment. Before her academic career, she worked in industry for nearly a decade as a consultant and held management positions in Business Analytics.
