Trishan leads strategic initatives for Security and Distributed Cloud Operations at F5 and recognized as an F5 Open Source Ambassador. His previous roles include Principal Technical Program Manager at Equinix and Senior Technical Community Architect at the Linux Foundation, contributing to groundbreaking open-source projects. He was a co-founder and Director for the Humanitarian FOSS Project, and serves on several advisory boards, including Teaching Open Source and Random Hacks of Kindness Jr.

What are you most proud of in your work or life?

Seeing the ripple effect of the work and teams that I’ve had opportunity and fortune to be part of. Particularly proud of how my work on the Humanitarian FOSS project, that engaged students in developing beneficial software for humanitarian and non-profits, that had impact in places from China, Haiti to the US, it also went on to spawn additional projects in STEM, inspiring mobileCSP, and Teaching Open Source (TOS), that have inspired 1000s of students and teachers over the years. I’m also proud of my former mentees, who have gone onto work at various large tech companies, and continue to stay in touch, all these years later.
