As a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services, I help build and design scalable cloud solutions that solve complex technical challenges. My journey in technology was inspired early on by my parents, both professors, who instilled in me a passion for learning and teaching. This foundation led me to pursue both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Computer Science, during which I actively engaged in mentoring and tutoring fellow students.
Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a strong commitment to education and mentorship. At AWS, I lead technical training sessions and mentor junior engineers, helping them navigate their career paths in software development. Outside of work, I’m dedicated to creating opportunities for underrepresented groups in STEM through various mentorship programs.
When I’m not coding or mentoring, you can find me on the soccer field competing in local leagues, hiking trails with my family, or exploring new cultures through travel. As a new father to a one-year-old daughter, I’m passionate about finding creative ways to foster early learning and development through interactive, screen-free activities.
My diverse experiences – from software engineering to mentorship, from competitive sports to parenthood – have shaped my approach to problem-solving and relationship building. I believe in the power of guidance and representation in STEM fields and am committed to helping build more inclusive technical communities.
