STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

Ridhima Karki

Ridhima Karki, a Public Health major at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and an UTA-27 inSTEM Scholar.

Ridhima recently participate in the Asian Pacific Islander Association youth ambassador training program over the summer. She shared the following:

“This was an event for various universities across the United States who are interested in voter engagement and civic action. Through SAAVETX (South Asian Association of Voter Engagement), an organization helping campuses in Texas, targeting South Asian students to vote, I got to represent The University of Texas at Arlington, and the aim is to establish this fantastic organization.”

Ridhima is another amazing example of all the ways our inSTEM Scholars are impacting the world. We appreciate Ridhima’s commitment to civic duty and her continued participation in the inSTEM program.
