I am a PhD student at the University of Texas at Arlington working on the experimental particle physics wherein my research is based on a very interesting and fascinating particle, we call it “neutrino”, a ghost particle, which barely interacts with matter, however, carries most interesting information of the phenomenons of the universe. We have three known flavors of neutrinos as of now and right now I am working on the Short Baseline Near Detector (SBND), which is a Near detector for the SBN Oscillation program, looking for an another possible flavor of neutrino, called “Sterile”.
